Yes Way, Rosé — Mother’s Day and more in this week’s ALDI Finds

Here are a few of my favorite ALDI Finds from the new week’s ad starting either 5/5/19 or 5/8/19 (although, even in Sunday markets, some of the new Finds don’t release until Wednesday). This week ALDI is bringing back its award winning Exquisite Collection Côtes de Provence Rosé at just $7.99, for those of you who have been waiting for it to roll back around in stores. You should be able to find this in all stores that sell alcohol, although note that last time many locations sold out shortly after opening their doors.

If you didn’t get a chance to try a bottle last time, take a look at my ALDI Rosé Review from back in 2017 to see what I thought of this particular wine!

More ALDI Mother’s Day Finds

If you’re planning to give Mom flowers & chocolate this Mother’s Day, you’re in luck! Look for bouquets ranging from $9.99-$14.99, mini succulant gardens for $6.99, or drop $9.99 on a premium flowering plant, 5″ orchid, or calla lily in watering can. Pair those flowers with some Specially Selected dark chocolate covered sea salt caramels (these things are downright dangerous) at $2.99, Moser Roth European chocolate truffles for $3.99, or a Village Bakery triple chocolate creme cake for $3.49.

People also rave about the Huntington Home 3 wick candles, which are back at $3.99 in spring scents like Papaya Breeze and Peony. Also look for a vintage style bulb Huntington Home wax warmer for $9.99, as well as a pretty flowered 24 oz stainless steel hydration bottle at $6.99. And, if Mom likes her clothes & accessories from ALDI, pick up a $9.99 maxi dress or sandals and a $5.99 tote.

(And if you’re already looking ahead to graduation, pick up a nice Pembrook $.99 card for your new grad!)

On the ALDI Outdoor Finds Front

Sleeping bag? Travel hammock? Air bed? Butane stove? Or a whole darn tent? All of these camping accessories and more are in the ad this week, along with more pretty patio picks such as a mosaic bistro table or a $19.99 7.5′ umbrella, plus spring perennials at just $4.99 each.

ALDI Food Finds this week

ALDI is running sales on spring asparagus in many regions across the country, although price may vary by store. There are so many awesome asparagus recipes to help you take advantage of seasonal sales — If you haven’t guessed, it’s one of my own favorite vegetables. Just this week, for instance, I threw together this sheet pan pesto chicken with asparagus and mushrooms. Yum. 🙂

Here are just a few more ideas for this week’s asparagus sale:

Other fun ALDI food sales & finds this week include blueberries (again, in many regions) as well as a sale on brioche buns and seasonal price drops on several varieties of ice cream. I’m also intrigued by Happy Farms Preferred Chipotle Cheddar deli cheese slices, so might give those a go this week if I’m feeling the impulse, lol.

What’s up with ALDI Finds?

ALDI Finds are limited time special buy items that are available in stores only while supplies last. So if you spot something you like, be sure to pick it up while you can! What caught your eye among this week’s ALDI Finds?

You can view all of these picks plus additional weekly Finds and specials using the ALDI Finds tabs across the top of their weekly ads page, but note that pricing and availability may vary by region. These sale prices are from the ad starting Sunday 5/5/19 or Wednesday 5/8/19.

  • Hi Everyone, I have been watching green onions rise a little every week. With it getting hot in the South I decided to try my luck at growing the bottoms of the onions. Some say plant in water first. I put them in a pot and they are starting to grow. Hopefully this will have to keep me from buying them this year.

    • I have put them in water and they grow roots fairly quickly, then planted straight outdoors. They regrow really nicely!
