Here are a few of my favorite ALDI Finds from the new week’s ad — which started yesterday 3/17 in Sunday market stores, and will start Weds. 3/20 in Wednesday market stores. First up, 16 oz bags of frozen flounder fillets are back in stores at $4.39. These lend themselves well to so many recipes, and cook up quickly and easily for a great early spring fish-on-Friday dinner.

Try making up a batch of these easy flounder & asparagus packets when you pick up your flounder, for instance — and look for lemons to be on sale, too, at $1.99 a 2-lb bag in many stores. Oh, also on the produce front: Avocados are on sale again in many stores, which is always a cause for celebration. Or, at least, for guacamole. 🙂

More on the ALDI Finds Food Front: German Week is back!

Given ALDI’s origins, it makes total sense that German week is among its fortes. This rolls around several times a year, and so many people anxiously await its arrival. I got this most awesome Deutsche Küche whole grain mustard on clearance on the last German Week sale, and plan to grab another jar as backup if it rolls around again on this one. (Stay tuned for a recipe tomorrow that incorporates whole grain mustard, too…)

Perennial German Week favorites include the Deutsche Küche pork schnitzel ($7.99 — I haven’t tried it yet, but people tend to rave about it), frozen strudel at $2.49, and jarred red cabbage with apples for $1.99. Oh, and the kids also always appreciate the $1.99 Deutsche Küche cornichons — because what’s not to like about baby pickles?

The cutest Lily & Dan children’s rain gear

On the non-food front: This week ALDI is featuring the cutest and most affordable children’s rain gear — $4.99 for an umbrella, $9.99 for rain boots, and $9.99 for children’s spring jackets. Alas, my tween and teen boys are well out of this stage, but if you have littles who could use new spring gear this is a great place to look. (What an adorable Easter gift these would make, too!).

Stuff for your workbench, stuff for your bathroom…

The Amazing Aisle of Random remains dangerous on multiple fronts this week. In addition to the cute rain gear for kids, also look for Workzone products to refresh your workbench for spring home projects. I was actually just thinking I needed to buy nails after looking everywhere for one to hang a picture earlier this week, so these household assorted nails and screws at $4.99 might not be a bad investment. Sometimes, it’s almost like ALDI can read your mind… Other highlights include a rechargeable LED worklight at $16.99, a foldable hand truck for $19.99, 3 packs of duct tape at $7.99, and more.

And to refresh your bathroom, you’ll find everything from a three tier cart ($14.99) to a wooden wall cabinet ($34.99) to a two piece bath rug set priced at just $9.99.

What’s up with ALDI Finds?

ALDI Finds are limited time special buy items that are available in stores only while supplies last. So if you spot something you like, be sure to pick it up while you can! What caught your eye among this week’s ALDI limited time special buys?

You can view these and additional upcoming weekly specials using the ALDI Finds tabs across the top of their weekly ads page, but note that pricing and availability may vary by region. These sale prices are from the ad starting Sunday 3/17/19 or Wednesday 3/20/19, depending which ad market you are in.
