Shrimp Taco Salad — an ALDI shrimp recipe!
Who’s in the mood for an easy 30 minute shrimp taco salad recipe today? This hearty dinner salad is the perfect choice for a hot summer’s evening, and it makes good use of a couple recent special buys at ALDI: Sea Queen wild caught U.S. Gulf shrimp, and Tuscan Garden tri-colored tortilla strips.
So, I spotted these lovelies at my local ALDI this week! I’ve mentioned before that I’d love to to see more U.S. caught-and-processed seafood at ALDI, so was happy to put my money where my mouth is this week and pay slightly more for these peeled & deveined Gulf shrimp. $6.89 wasn’t bad at all for 12 oz of good sized U.S. wild caught shrimp, and they cooked up just beautifully.

My only non-ALDI ingredient today was a little chipotle Cholula in the shrimp marinade / salad dressing, but you could certainly use either ALDI’s hot sauce, or their chipotle taco sauce that also rolls around seasonally.
