Fiddleleaf Figs, Air Fryers, Cast Iron, and Cauliflower Pizza — ALDI Finds of the week

Look at the size of the fiddleleaf figs at my ALDI this week! This week’s ad sports snake plants and fiddleleaf fig plants for $12.99 each, and I was sorely tempted… but my three cats would not get along with a fiddleleaf fig tree in the slightest, as they can be toxic to pets. If your house is, however, small child and pet free? Check. These. Out! So pretty.
Here are a few more of my favorite ALDI Finds and sale items from the new week’s ad starting either 10/20/19 or 10/23/19 (although, even in Sunday markets, many of the new non-food Finds don’t release until Wednesday).
Cast Iron, Air Fryer, and more ALDI non-food Finds
You’ll find an Ambiano air fryer for $49.99 in this week’s ALDI ad. At just 2.6 liters, however, ALDI’s digital air fryer is on the smaller side — and larger air fryers go on sale often enough that this might not be the best choice for a family. (Follow Best Buy’s daily deals, for instance, where air fryers pop up several times a month — they’re actually featuring a 5.5 liter digital air fryer for that same $49.99 price, today 10/23/19 only.)
A better buy on the kitchen front, though? ALDI cast iron, where you have several options available. This Crofton mini cast iron cookware is adorable at $4.99 each — I scored three of the mini skillets on clearance last year, shown here full of leftover turkey chili. Choose from the little 6″ pans shown, an 8 oz casserole, or a 6″ square griddle for this price. Other ALDI cast iron options this week include:
- Crofton cast iron 5 quart braiser, $29.99
- Crofton cast iron 6 quart Dutch oven, $29.99
- Crofton cast iron grill or fry pan, $16.99
The Dutch oven and braiser come in such pretty colors, too.
Other cool kitchen Finds at ALDI this week include the Crofton Chef’s Collection food mill at just $12.99 — make your own tomato paste and more. $12.99 will also get you a Crofton 12 piece resin knife set, while you can get into an Ambiano portable induction cooktop for $44.99. Last but not least: If you’re looking to cook up big batches of soup and chili this winter, the $19.99 Crofton 12 quart porcelain enamel stockpot might be right up your alley.
Moving elsewhere on the home front, we’re going to keep seeing new ALDI candles all this holiday season. This week look for these nifty Huntington Home Timberwick candles in seasonal scents like “sweet pumpkin roll” for $5.99 each — and I also spotted scented wax melts at $1.69, and warmers for $4.99.
More home items for the last week of October:
- Huntington Home felt storage basket, $7.99
- Easy Home 360 surround heater, $24.99
- Huntington Home signature shag rug, $49.99
- Huntington Home faux fur throw, $19.99
- Huntington Home contour or comfort memory foam pillow, $12.99
- Huntington Home reversible 3 piece plush/sherpa comforter set (queen or king), $34.99
- Easy Home bathroom wall shelf, $12.99
- Easy Home loofah anti-slip bath mat, $5.99
- Huntington Home oversized towel, $9.99
- Easy Home step bin or toilet brush, $8.99
… and more!
Finds for your feline (or canine) friends, too. Look for small/medium Heart to Tail soft sided pet carriers, $14.99. A Heart to Tail pet gate will run you $39.99, Heart to Tail memory foam pet beds are $19.99, fall pet sweaters $4.99, and 40 oz bacon curlz $7.99.
Finds for the furless, too — if you’re looking for cozy deals for the people in your life, look for Royal Class men’s sleep pants ($7.99), Serra Ladies’ 2 piece PJs ($12.99) or luxury robe ($17.99), Serra Ladie’s bootie slippers ($9.99) or Royal Class men’s slippers ($5.99). You’ll also find Serra Ladies’ 6 pack underwear for $6.99 or Crane Men’s 4 piece boxer briefs for $9.99.
ALDI Food Finds
All this window shopping is making me hungry, how about you? This is a very non-food heavy ad, but let’s move on to some ALDI food Finds for the week, starting with pizza. Mama Cozzi’s deli pizzas are on sale right now, 16″ pepperoni or sausage being $4.99 in my local ads, and five cheese just $4.49. Mama Cozzi’s roasted vegetable cauliflower crust pizza will run you $4.99, while Mama Cozzi’s Tuscan chicken or Mediterranean flatbread pizza is just $3.89. Moving on through the freezer case, you also have your choice of Season’s Choice butternut squash or sweet potato blend for $2.99, or Belmont chocolate truffle or raspberry white chocolate cheesecake for $5.99.
More cheeses have started trickling into stores as we all gear up for our holiday charcuterie boards. This $2.99 Specially Selected pepperoni marinara cheese is always a favorite with the boys here, and I also saw Happy Farms Preferred imported brie at my store for $3.49 yesterday.
These Whole & Simple adobo chicken or Korean beef power bowls are intriguing at $2.99 each — find them in the freezer section. Other new Finds I randomly spotted in store this week include:
- Clancy’s pub style seasoned pretzels, $1.69
- Whole & Simple Thai coconut or sesame chicken skillet, $6.29
- Fusia Tom Yum broth, $1.79
- Chef’s Cupboard microwavable mashed potatoes 4-pack cups, $2.89
- SimplyNature Organic sweet potato or pumpkin seed tortilla chips, $1.99
- Whole & Simple steak & cheddar or chicken cilantro lime burritos, $1.99
On the meat and produce front, many regions of the country have three pack caramel apples for $1.49 — and look for grapes, zucchini, & apples to be on sale in various ads. Chicago-area ads this week have beef bottom round roast for $2.99 a pound and chicken tenderloins for $1.99 a pound, but check against your own location.
