Looook! Not only are two-bite cupcakes back (in Halloween designs this time), but they are now nut free. This is great news — I’ve had to go to other stores for treats in the past because of possible cross-contamination, so am glad that ALDI is taking a look at this. You get 24 mini cupcakes for $4.99.
More Halloween and Fall bakery treats? Heck, yeah. Also new this week:
- Bake Shop apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice muffins, four for $2.99
- Bake Shop cinnamon or pumpkin coffee cake bites, 12 for $3.99
- Bake Shop six pack pumpkin donuts, $3.49
All of these Finds were up on the register endcaps at my store, rather than with the other bread & bakery items.
My favorite ALDI Finds
Here are just a few more of my favorite Finds this week.
- Check out the “ALDI Finds” and current weekly ad tabs (or mobile menu choices) on the ALDI site to window shop from home.
- If you’re planning an in-store shopping trip, use their online ad to help determine what you’ll grab and purchase if you do see it in the store.
As always, prices may vary by store and by region.
ALDI Food Finds this week
Another week, another new ALDI frozen pizza to try… This week, Mama Cozzi’s premium thin crust cheese or pepperoni pizza will run you $4.29. Also look for two packs of Mama Cozzi’s French bread pizza, in either three meat or five cheese & garlic, $2.25 a box. And, when you move on to the cooler section, a big Mama Cozzi’s 16″ three meat deli pizza is $5.99 this week.
I have to admit: I did want to try these Appetitos avocado chicken egg rolls — but couldn’t bring myself to drop $5.99 on the box. Have you tried them? Am I missing out?
And speaking of too rich for my blood, yet intriguing: Sea Queen 12 oz Langostino tails, $10.99. Also on the fishy front: Fremont Fish Market stuffed clams, $4.99 for 20 oz (looks like these are packs of 9 clams).
On the more kid-friendly-front, though, how about curly fries? Season’s Choice 28 oz seasoned spiral fries are just $1.99 this week. And, what goes well with frozen curly fries? Frozen whole grain dino nuggets, $4.29 for 21 oz. You can also pick up a 22.8 oz box of Kirkwood buffalo style Zings for $4.99, or a Bremer gyros kit for $7.49.
So much new stuff in the freezer section this week. Look also for Season’s Choice sweet potato or butternut squash blends, $2.99 for 16 oz if you are looking for a fancy pre-made veggie side dish. A Belmont Fall cheesecake sampler will run you $9.99. And, my store already had Butterball turkeys out at $1.29 a pound.
Moving on to the refrigerated section… I think that charcuterie board season is approaching! Seasonal Emporium Selection artisan cheeses are $3.49 for 4 oz, including #butfirst coffee, some like it hatch, and you’re Cajun me crazy. Look also for Emporium Selection artisinal Fontina, at $3.99 for 5 oz, including… leaning tower of chee-sa. Carr Valley artisan cheese is $3.89 per 5 oz, while Emporium Selection honey & pecan or cranberry baking brie will run you $6.99, or Emporium Selection cranberry white cheddar, $2.99.
I also spotted Bake House Creations sea salt caramel chocolate chunk cookie dough back on the shelf, at the same $2.79 price as last year. See my review of these from last fall (spoiler alert: SO GOOD).
More cooler section Finds this week include Happy Farms pizza or trio blend shredded cheese, $2.99 for 12 oz, and Park Street Deli chicken & rice soup or butternut squash bisque, $2.85 for 16 oz.
Let’s move on over to the pantry Finds section now, where a 48 ct pumpkin spice variety pack of Barissimo K-Cups will run you just $12.99 ($.27 per cup). Those might go nicely with the coffee cake bites, muffins, and donuts we talked about at the beginning, don’t you think? You can also look for 10 oz Barissimo Halloween ground coffee for $3.99.
Still thirsty? Nature’s Nectar honeycrisp or salted caramel apple cider is $2.89 per 64 oz bottle, while Nature’s Nectar cranberry 100% juices are $2.49 for 64 oz.
On the savory side, Clancy’s pub style seasoned pretzels are back! $1.69 per 12 oz bag. Snack further:
- Simply Nature organic sweet potato or pumpkin seed tortilla chips, $1.99
- Southern Grove fall almonds, $5.49
- Stonemill popcorn seasoning, $1.79
- Clancy’s kettlecorn, $1.89
- Clancy’s cinnamon churros, $.99
- Clancy’s original or cheddar & sour cream rippled baked potato crisps, $2.29
- Simply Nature Halloween apple cinnamon fruit squeezies, $9.99 for 76.8 oz
- 12 oz Snyder’s Halloween pretzel snack packs, $2.99
- Kellogg’s rice Krispies treats kit, $4.99
- Two Bite Halloween brownie platter, $4.99
- Specially Selected dark chocolate covered espresso beans, $2.99
- Choceur milk chocolate covered toffee pretzels, $1.99
The churros are a perennial fave — if you’re fond of Taco Bell’s cinnamon twists, try these.
This is… different. Saverne craft beer or Sriracha artisanal sauerkraut is a special buy for $1.89 this week. And a few more pantry Finds of randomness include Specially Selected pumpkin pasta sauces for $2.49, Samyang ramen 5 packs for $3.99, Baker’s Corner pumpkin quickbread mix for $1.69, and Baker’s Corner caramel apple or pumpkin spice cupcake mix for $2.39.
As far as meat & produce deals in many areas of the country — which, as always, may vary by region — look for possible continuing sales on pumpkins, as well as green grapes, honeycrisp apples, asparagus, avocados, and mushrooms this week. You might also find St. Louis pork spare ribs and family packs of boneless skinless chicken breasts as your meat specials of the week.
ALDI stores that sell alcohol may also be stocking special buys such as: Stella Rosa tropical splash, Anchor Brewing anchor steam beer, KYLA hard kombucha, and more this week. See price in store on these.
ALDI non-Food Finds this week
Fiddle leaf figs are back! This time around, these 10″ plants are more expensive at $12.99 — but they looked beautifully healthy at my store. (From some of the photos I’ve seen online, some people are finding even larger plants, too…)
Papia toilet paper is also back, 24 rolls for $8.99. I still am confused about pH balanced TP, though.
And look for Pembrook all-occasion cards to be available again, just $.99 each for good quality, large cards! These are really nice for the price, but aren’t always out in stores — so you may wish to pick some up to have on hand for future occasions.
Halloween cat scratching play houses are back again this week at $7.99 each. (I’ve managed to pick a new one of these up on clearance for our three bad kitties each of the past three years, so we will see if that streak continues!) More for your pets: Heart to Tail Halloween crunchy dog treats, $3.99, Heart to Tail frosted dog bones, $2.99, or Heart to Tail pet Halloween hoodies, $4.99.
Safety first! $14.99 will get you a First Alert fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, or smoke detector. Also check out a First Alert waterproof fire safe ($24.99) and Easy Home home security assortment ($7.99 each).
Find Finds for your home this week, too. Remember the amazing teal cabinet? If you were lucky enough to score one of those, the SOHL console table this week matches. For your further Fall decorating, also check out these relatively affordable Huntington Home harvest reversible porch signs, $12.99 each. Oh, and that same $12.99 could also get you a Huntington Home seagrass basket, or a Gardenline rustic planter.
And then, there are the Fall candles! Choose from a Huntington Home large air freshener candle for $2.99, or a Huntington Home timberwick candle for $5.99. Also look for a Huntington Home coat tree ($29.99), 3-piece decorative area rug set ($39.99), or magazine holder ($4.99).
Moving into the kitchen, as we continue to bedeck our home.
- Crofton oven liner or two piece rack protectors, $4.99
- Crofton cupcake baking kit, $6.99
- Crofton three piece glass baking dish set, $12.99
- Crofton ceramic trivet & spoon rest set, $6.99
- Crofton sieve set, $5.99
- Crofton silicone bakeware, $4.99
- Crofton silicone baking mat, $3.99
- Crofton utensils $3.99
- Crofton 3 tier cooling rack, $6.99
- Crofton digital kitchen scale, $8.99
- Pumpkin carving & stencil kit, $3.49
Grab that sieve set, if you don’t already have a fine mesh strainer! Great for everything from homemade vegetable broth to rinsing quinoa. And the weights and measures on this trivet and spoon rest? How handy, right?
Lastly, bedeck yourself. Highlights here include Serra ladies’ booties, 2-pack long sleeved tees, 3-piece PJ set, long-sleeve sleep shirt, or premium jeggings for $12.99, a 6-pack of women’s underwear for $6.99, or a poncho for $9.99.
