Eggses, Blueberries, Cold Brew Coffee… and other favorite ALDI Finds this week!

Here are a few of my favorite ALDI Finds and sale items from the new week’s ad starting either 5/26/19 or 5/29/19 (although, even in Sunday markets, some of the new Finds don’t release until Wednesday).

On the food front, look for eggs to be on sale as low as $.69 a dozen depending on ad market — and for blueberries to be as low as $.99 a pint, again, depending on market! If you picked up one of their cheap pineapple slicers a couple of weeks ago, you can use it on this week’s sale pineapples — and, if you enjoy avocados as much as I do, look for them to be on sale at varying price points depending on ad markets. Produce in particular is variable depending on where in the country you are, so my $.99 blueberries might, say, be $1.69 by you — always check against your local ad!

And do You know what goes well with avocados? I’m thinking sirloin steak, at $4.99 a pound. Turn yours into these awesome easy steak fajitas, perhaps.

ALDI Kitchen Finds this week

Crofton cold brew coffee system

So, there are TWO kitchen Finds that intrigue me this week. First up, this Crofton Cold Brew coffee system for just $9.99. Cold brew coffee is so darned good, yet so darned expensive. I gather, though, that cold brewing takes a lot more grounds than a regular brewed pot of coffee. Anyone tried a similar cold brew coffee maker? I’m looking at the Amazon comments on a competing model currently selling for a few bucks more for tips & suggestions, and seriously considering investing in this one. If I do, I’ll report back on how it works.

Secondly, I’m looking at the Crofton Chef’s Collection fry and oven pan. This one is 12.6″ and comes with a lid and two detachable handles. Right now I just use my handy cast iron skillet or a Dutch oven to move meals from the stove top to the oven, but my skillet lacks a lid and the Dutch oven is sometimes too deep for what I need. At $19.99, though, I’m probably going to pass — this one is more of a want than a need.

Other ALDI kitchen Finds this week include: Crofton pancake pans, acacia cutting boards, or bamboo bed trays for $9.99 each, and pretty Crofton carafes or swing bottles at $3.99.

Other non-food ALDI Finds this week

Summer is coming, and ALDI has you covered with an Easy Home 5000 BTU window AC for $99.99 — and a mini dehumidifier for $9.99. This seems like a good price — it looks very similar to this one, at about $50 cheaper. Also look for camping supplies, ranging from an Adventuridge pop-up tent ($29.99) or warm weather sleeping bag ($8.99) to a Crane hydration backpack ($16.99) or pop up LED lantern set ($9.99). (I have similar pop-up lanterns that I got on a lightning deal on Amazon a while back, and they are most excellent for your emergency kit or power outages, in addition to camping.)

Lastly, look for exercise wear including an iTECH fitness watch, $24.99, 2 pack seamless sports bras, $9.99, or memory foam walking shoes at $11.99 women’s, $12.99 men’s, or $9.99 kids.

What’s up with ALDI Finds?

ALDI Finds are limited time special buy items that are available in stores only while supplies last. So if you spot something you like, be sure to pick it up while you can! What caught your eye among this week’s ALDI Finds?

You can view all of these picks plus additional weekly Finds and specials using the ALDI Finds tabs across the top of their weekly ads page, but note that pricing and availability may vary by region. These sale prices are from the ad starting Sunday 5/26/19 or Wednesday 5/29/19.

  • I bought the Cold Brew Coffee System so I could serve both ice tea and ice coffee to guests Friday night. Everyone loved the cold brew coffee so much that no one touched the ice tea until I had flat run out of cold brew coffee. Have made two more brews since then and my husband I could be addicted! At least I am on my way back to Aldi tomorrow in hopes that they still have the Coffee Systems for sale, as I think they will make great gifts and I might just need a spare, myself!
