Here’s one hearty comfort food recipe idea for a cold fall or winter’s day: Breakfast Sausage, Egg, & Spinach Hand Pies pack a huge flavor wallop, but require just a few ingredients.
Why is now a good time for a new hand pies recipe? Well, I’m always so happy when Bake House Creations refrigerated pie crusts show back up on the shelf at ALDI. These really shouldn’t be seasonal, because who doesn’t enjoy a good pie, hand pie, or quiche all year round?
Luckily for us, though, we’re still at the very beginning of the holiday baking season and so have a few months yet to enjoy them. (Refrigerated pie crusts run just $1.39 at my store, and I think they’re better than their name brand equivalents!)
Breakfast Sausage Hand Pies, anyone?
This easy sausage hand pies recipe can easily be made with all ALDI ingredients — and, those seven simple ingredients pack so much flavor! Find the complete sausage, egg, & spinach hand pies recipe over on sister site Mashup Mom.

If you are looking for other simple ways to use a roll of breakfast sausage and a carton of eggs, beyond just making up a batch of scrambled eggs & sausage patties, how about:
- An easy breakfast sausage quiche (you know, again taking advantage of that seasonal pie crust) or
- Low carb breakfast sausage egg muffins?
Go beyond the basics with any one of these options.
