ALDI Finds from wine decanters to Turkish figs
So many fun little last minute gift-y items in this week’s ALDI ad! I picked up one of these three packs of Huntington Home mini candle tins for just $4.99, and saw three different scent combinations to choose from at my store. On the home scent front this week, also look for Huntington Home salt crystal lamps ($9.99) and cool mist ultrasonic aroma diffusers ($19.99).
Here are a few more of my favorite ALDI Finds and sale items from the new week’s ad starting either 12/15/19 or 12/18/19. (Note: even in Sunday markets, many of the new non-food Finds don’t release until Wednesday). These are filled out with a few new non-advertised Finds that I’ve spotted at my own store recently.

ALDI has a new batch of succulents on the shelf this week: Black tie succulents are on sale for just $3.99 each. I’ve had fairly good luck nursing my ALDI succulent along this year — and honestly, with my luck with plants, it’s good they are always cheap there, lol.
Then, let’s get entertaining: If you are looking for a pretty way to serve wine at your holiday gatherings this year, Crofton wine decanters are $9.99 each this week — as are Crofton 4 pack wine or champagne glasses. Also look for Crofton 3-tier buffet servers at $14.99, and an Ambiano electric wine set for $24.99.
Wondering how best to serve your New Year’s ALDI charcuterie board? Check out this 4 piece set of Crofton cheese knives for $7.99! And, Boulder celebration tableware for New Year’s is just $.89.
Speaking of the New Year — We already talked about the 2020 Pembrook planners you’ll find on shelf this week, but also be on the lookout for Pembrook premium 16 month wall calendars at $3.99 each. They also have a cute set of Pembrook 25 count all occasion greeting cards with card organizer for just $9.99.
Elsewhere on the home front, $12.99 will get you either an Easy Home portable cool mist humidifier, or a Huntington Home 60″x70″ feather soft throw. If you’re looking for fleece sheet sets, Huntington Home queen or king set are $24.99 — and Huntington Home down alternative comforters are $19.99 each. Turn up the heat with Biddeford queen or king heated microplush blankets or heated mattress pads, too!
For your car: AutoXS snow brooms or 6-in-1 auto emergency power tools are $9.99 each, or pick up a snow brush with ice scraper, $3.99.

These figs, though. I wait for these to reappear every year around this time: They are SO good! (Better than the big bags I buy the rest of the year at Costco.) Southern Grove dried Turkish figs are just $2.49 this week for 8 oz, and here’s a tip for you: Try them either with bacon or with Parmesan cheese crisps for an amazing sweet-and-salty combo.
Figs are a lovely sweet addition to those charcuterie boards, and, as always, you’ll find a beautiful selection of specialty cheeses to accompany them. Emporium Selection artisan cheeses are $3.89 each this week, as is Port Salut semisoft imported French cheese. Festive Specially Selected red wine or sparkling wine cheeses are $4.99 apiece, while you’ll see Emporium Selection alcohol infused cheddars priced at $3.99.

Above, just a random smattering of the seasonal food Finds this week; spot them in every corner of your store.
Meat and produce sales are again less prevalent this holiday week — Brussels sprouts are of course cheap in many regions, as are red grapes, celery, sweet potatoes, mandarins, pineapple, and big bags of russet potatoes. Look for hams on sale, too: Prices will vary by store, but my Chicago-area ad has Appleton Farms spiral sliced half hams for $.85/lb this week. Beef tenderloin is never “cheap,” but it’s $9.99/lb in my ad, if you’re looking to serve a holiday roast this year.
Other seasonal basics again include baking staples: Countryside Creamery butter quarters at $1.99, Happy Farms cream cheese at $.99, Baker’s Corner semi-sweet morsels $1.29, Baker’s Corner 5 lb all purpose flour $1.49, 16 oz Southern Grove shelled walnuts $5.49, 10 oz Baker’s Corner mini marshmallows $.89, Chef’s Cupboard cream of mushroom soup $.49, and more.
