Well, here’s one way to ring in the New Year: Party games based on your favorite TV shows! $9.99 each for The Office, Friends, or The Golden Girls.
If that’s not festive enough for you, ALDI also has an Easy Home rotating disco ball for $16.99 — plus a New Year’s Eve party pack kit containing hats, foil streamer blowers, beads, confetti, and tiaras that will run you just $7.99.
This one might be fun if you’re doing a kid party! Pro tip: Set the clocks ahead and count down at 8PM, lol. Netflix has kids’ New Year’s Eve countdowns that you can play whenever you like.
Here are a few more of my favorite ALDI Finds and sale items from the new week’s ad starting either 12/22/19 or 12/26/19; ALDI is closed on Christmas Day 12/25. (Note: even in Sunday markets, many of the new non-food Finds don’t release until Wednesday). These are filled out with a few new non-advertised Finds that I’ve spotted at my own store recently.
ALDI Food Finds this week
If you’ve been making the trip to your local produce store or ethnic market for big tins of olive oil, check this out: Get a 101 fl oz (3 liter) decorative tin of Carlini extra virgin olive oil for $16.99. (Note: If you miss these or are looking for organic, I often pick up tins of organic extra virgin olive oil on Amazon for a good price — Zoe organic is a great, yet usually affordable brand.)
If you’re still trying to like riced cauliflower, give it another try with these seasonal Season’s Choice blends: Savory herb sweet potato + cauliflower blend, or broccoli cauliflower with white cheddar sauce, $2.79 each. More in the frozen aisle:
- Season’s Choice steamed baby Brussels sprouts or creamed spinach, $2.49
- Season’s Choice 16 oz fruit & veggie smoothie blends, $2.99
- Season’s Choice 32 oz fiesta blend or sliced strawberries, $3.99
- Belmont cheesecake twin pack, $1.99
- Specially Selected mini eclairs or cream puffs, $4.89
- Specially Selected lamb leg roast (rosemary garlic or plain), $5.99/lb

More food deals trend towards the festive, such as Bake Shop triple chocolate creme cake for $3.49 or gourmet cookies for $2.99, Park Street Deli olive or mushroom tapenade for $3.99, and Bake House Creations oatmeal raisin or coconut pecan cookie dough at $2.49.
Thirsty for more? I know some of you have been waiting for Spindrift sparkling water to show up back on the shelf, and it’s finally here: Happy New Year’s, here you go! 24 pack, $13.99. For the kids, look for an Honest Kids 40 ct variety pack juice boxes for $9.98. And, for the mornings, a value pack of 96 ct Barissimo fair trade certified breakfast blend coffee is just $24.99.
Meat & produce deals? Well, I’m so glad to see avocados back on sale this week! $.59 each in my area; what are they by you this week? Use yours to make Baby Yoda-cado toast — or, on a less just-for-fun note, cheap avocados rock in any of these 11 avocado recipes from National Avocado Day this past summer.
More produce sales in my Chicago-area ads: Oranges, Roma tomatoes, baby carrots, and red grapes. Meat deals are more sparse, but they are listing a half pork loin at $1.89/lb.
