ALDI Finds for Vegetarians include dairy free ice cream — and more favorites this week!
It’s Vegetarian Week at ALDI! Be on the lookout for these vegan Earth Grown non-dairy almond-based frozen dessert pints, if you’ve been waiting for them to bring back dairy free ice cream. My store had three different flavors in stock the other day (chocolate, vanilla, and mocha fudge), at $2.99 for 16 oz.
Lots more vegetarian and vegan special buys, too! Also look for 10 oz boxes of organic Earth grown plant based meatless burgers at $4.99, as well as Earth Grown mushroom risotto or lentil veggie burgers at $3.79, Earth Grown buffalo or BBQ chickenless patties for $3.49, and Earth Grown beefless crumbles or chickenless strips at $3.49. Earth Grown vegan sour cream will run you $2.39 this week. Lastly, they’re carrying 8 oz Beyond Meat beyond burger plant-based patties this week, priced at $4.49.
Here are a few more of my favorite ALDI Finds and sale items from the new week’s ad starting either 7/14/19 or 7/17/19 (although, even in Sunday markets, many of the new non-food Finds don’t release until Wednesday).
ALDI Food Finds this week
On the produce front, look for blueberries to be on sale in many areas ($1.29 a pint in my ads!). One of my favorite high protein breakfasts is to mix some fresh blueberries into Friendly Farms whole milk Greek yogurt — so good, you guys. More seasonal summer finds: Cherries, avocados, and watermelon are also on sale again in many regions.
Sale meat this week includes family packs of boneless skinless chicken breast — so you can use some more of those sale blueberries and the sale avocados in this simple summer dinner salad recipe! (Speaking of salad: Tuscan Garden simply salad dressing will run you $1.49 each, and organic croutons $1.69.) Or if you’re making chicken sandwiches, L’Oven Fresh potato sandwich or long rolls will run you $1.49.
What else… let’s see, how about frozen Fremont Fish Market salmon burgers at $4.99? (I haven’t tried these, but have heard they’re good.) While you’re in the special buy freezer aisle, My/Mo mochi ice cream is in this week’s ad for $4.79 and Season’s Choice sweet potato fries are $2.69 — and then come on back to the refrigerator case for organic cheese: 6 oz SimplyNature organic assortment for $3.49 each, or SimplyNature organic feta, blue, or shredded Parmesan 4 oz for $2.99 each.
