Here are a few of my favorite ALDI Finds from the new week’s ad — which started Sunday 4/14 in Sunday market stores, and will start Weds. 4/17 in Wednesday market stores.
This week, their Huntington Home Chindi rugs are back! 30″x46″, 100% recycled, and just $4.99. I already have a couple of these in my home from previous years, and they’re holding up great. The colorful one pictured above has graced the tile inside of my sliding glass door since April 2016, and it ran me that same $4.99 three years ago. Good deal. 🙂
More ALDI non-food Finds this week
How pretty is this Crofton porcelain enamel stock pot? A matching casserole, tea kettle, drying mats, kitchen towels, and chair pads are also available. The flowered tea kettle is especially cute, and I only wish I actually had a need for any of these items. They remind me of the floral Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart, but a better price, and… you don’t have to go to Walmart. Win-win! Other kitchen finds: The Crofton ceramic peeler is back at $2.99 (and works great!), and on the Earth Day front you’ll also find a $6.99 Easy Home recycling bin, a $3.99 Crofton cork travel cup, and an $18.99 Huntington Home 6’x9′ indoor/outdoor area rug made with recycled material.
ALDI gardening sales continue…
ALDI has really been bringing the gardening sales this year! On the gardening front this week, I’m liking pruning sets and shears at $6.99 each (as well as a $9.99 lopper), a Gardenline tumbling composter for $39.99, a big bag of Gardenline potting mix for $2.99, and a cute plant stand for just $9.99. If you get hummingbirds in your area, also look for a feeder ($6.99) and nectar ($3.99) to bring all the birds to your yard.
A few ALDI Food Finds this week
Grab yourself some Countryside Creamery butter at $1.99 each: That’s a stock-up price, and butter freezes quite nicely. We probably won’t see it this price again until just before Thanksgiving, so think about how much you might use before then and pick it up now so that you don’t have to pay more later.
The same goes for 32 oz powdered or brown sugar ($.95 a bag), 5 lb flour ($1.15 a bag), and 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels (just $1.29 a bag). Graham cracker pie crusts are $.85 this week, evaporated milk just $.65 — and, look for 8 oz cream cheese for as low as $.69!
4 oz goat cheese is also listed in this ad at $1.79, making it a perfect week to cook up a sausage, peppers, & onions fritatta with garlic herb goat cheese. This is one of our favorite recipes, and so easy to throw together with ALDI goat cheese and a pack of their Never Any! chicken apple sausage.
